Controlling flammable and and chemical liquids and gas hazards around the workplace is vital, as an employer you must carry out a risk assessment to ensure your staff, visitors and contractors are kept safe and away from hazardous goods whilst in the workplace and carrying out their duties. You must ensure all hazardous substances have the correct storage to ensure they are kept safe and secure, to clean up liquid spillages such as oils, lubricants and chemicals the spill kits and Spill Absorbents will be needed to ensure all spillages are cleaned up as soon as possible. Flammable and chemical liquid Storage Units will be needed to ensure any chemicals and flammable liquids and correctly stored, handled and transported in a safe and secure manner and to ensure compliance with the health & safety regulations.
